An awareness class on “bird flu” was convened on 4^th December 2014 and was handled by Dr. Preethi Unnithan, Senior Research Officer of COHEART. The class was conducted at the Poothadi Grama Panchayat and was inaugurated by Panchayat President Smt. I. B. Mrinalini. The ward members, CDS persons, staff of Veterinary Hospital and health inspectors were the participants. There was good interaction among the member participants and video on “Pakshi pani beethi venda” was filmed.
