Dr. Preethi Unnithan, Senior Research Officer at COHEART handled awareness classes for the public on Kyasanur forest disease conducted at PHC, Sugandhagiri on 10^th February, 2015. The awareness class helped to abate the apprehensions regarding the disease and the side effects of the vaccine as well as to clear all the doubts relevant to animal involvement in KFD transmission.
